About Me

Hello Everyone! My Name is Humera Begum and I am a Concurrent BSN Program student at Old Dominion School of Nursing.

In addition to this program, I am pursuing my Associates Degree in Nursing at Northern Virginia Community College, School of Nursing. To give a little bit of background, I originally completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology at Virginia Tech in the year 2011. My experiences thereafter led me to an interest in Nursing. I worked as a medical assistant at a holistic neurology clinic and as a CNA at a retirement community for 2 years. Those experiences confirmed Nursing was fitting for my personality and thirst to make a difference in the lives of others. When the time comes, I am really looking forward to tackling all the challenges a career in Nursing entails.
